REMEMBER WW1- ‘Remembrance Field’
Is a large scale photographic art installation by artist Carl Jaycock presented in St Mary the Virgin Church, Shrewsbury.
When: Exhibition from 28th July 2015 until Friday 11th September 2015.
Monday to Saturday 10.00am – 4.00pm
A FREE ARTIST TALK on Saturday 15th August at 2.00 about the installation and sharing an informal look his public/art practice.

Project concept and installation by artist Carl Jaycock and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. It is also supported by The Churches Conservation Trust, Shropshire Regimental Museum and Herefordshire Archive Services.
The exhibition presents a large scale art installation by Carl Jaycock that commemorates WW1. The installation focuses on the 4663 individuals from Shropshire that gave their lives in WW1. Where possible the installation uses portraits of men and women from Shropshire and additionally is supported by images of other men and women from Britain who displayed great acts of courage and bravery during WW1.
