I’ve always loved art, it was probably my only enjoyable lesson at school and college, although I dropped out of Art college because I found it too structured and, like a typical teen, just wanted to focus on the things I enjoyed. Life then got in the way and made me believe I needed a ‘proper’ job, one that you don’t particularly enjoy to pay the bills…ah the trap we fall into.
Many careers later and always keeping art as a background hobby I’ve come back full circle to doing something I love and being so pathetically enthusiastic about it all.
I’m lucky to be based in rural Shropshire with stunning views from The Cotswolds (on a good day) across to Pen Y Fan. I hope you like my work, there is a lot of love in every piece and so many of them I want to keep for myself but that’s a sign they need a new home. Each piece starts out as a thought and then often develop into something as I go along. I probably should get better at planning , but I’m just having too much fun at the moment.
