About Contact

I'm an emerging artist based near Oswestry, Shropshire. Having spent 9 years home educating my own children, I have now returned to my passion of art.

I love exploring colour and the fine details found in the beauty of nature in my paintings, as well as in my photography. I love discovering dilapidated buildings with their subtle tones and textures.  I have recently started experimenting with tissue paper and wire to develop sculptures.

I have made some beaded felt toadstool decorations which are for sale in the Van Gallery, along with greeting cards of my artwork and photography and my framed oil pastel, "Abstract II". Please enjoy browsing in my Etsy shop, Turquoise Frangipani.

In the 1990s, after a change in career, I spent 2 years in London studying art at the Hampstead School of Art and Chelsea College of Art & Design, as well as completing an Anatomy for Artists course the at UCL. I continue to develop my skills through short courses at wonderfully inspiring places, such at the Westhope Craft College.

I create art for commissions on request. Always excited by collaboration and commission, please do get in touch for any form of creative chat.
