About Contact
Trained as a furniture designer, I worked for several years as a freelance designer-maker.  This was mainly to commission for private & 'public' clients, though I also made exhibition pieces. 
I led a course in furniture design & craftsmanship at Shrewsbury College of Art & Technology and later at Bucks New University in High Wycombe.

I work mainly in wood, but also use leather, stone, metal, etc.  Playing with structure & colour, I generally aim for practical usefulness but make some non-functional work.

I take photos to record & amuse.
